Sujuan Gao, PhD
Dr. Gao’s major research interest is in developing statistical methods for the analysis of observational data. She has conducted research in statistical methods dealing with longitudinal data analyses with missing data, correlated data and data collected from complex sampling.
Dr. Gao has been involved in research projects in Alzheimer’s Disease, aging and has extensive experience working with a team of biostatisticians and data managers on various cohort and clinical studies. She is the leader of the Data Management and Statistics Core as well as the Principal Investigator of a NIH funded project on selenium level and cognitive decline conducted in China. Dr. Gao also collaborates with a group of researchers from the Indiana University Center for Aging Research.
