The Neuroimaging Core provides standardized, state-of-the-art neuroimaging technology to support clinical and translational research studies within the IADC and in national and international collaborative studies.  Several scientific themes guide the core: 1) Imaging as a window to ongoing disease processes, 2) Imaging as a biomarker for early detection and treatment response, 3) Integration of imaging and genetics to assess candidate genes/pathways and discovery of new disease mechanisms, 4) Using common methodology to study human and animal models, and 5) Provide and support collaborative and educational opportunities.
